We're open for business Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday afternoons
Please note due to staff shortage we will be closed on Sunday 19th and 26th September 2021
Tuesday - Thursday: 10am - 5pm
Friday - Saturday: Closed
Sundays: 2pm - 5pm
Bank Holidays: 2pm - 5pm
Please note, on special event days our sites will only be open for the event. No general admission on these days.
Entry to our grounds is free.
From 20 July 2021 the Mill and Museum is fully open but we will be limiting numbers. Please book your visit here

*Free when accompanying a child attending a paid activity of £4 or more.
Milling hours are subject to demand for flour, weather conditions or necessary repairs. If you are visiting specifically to see the mill, please call ahead to check the mill is running.
The miller takes a lunch break in the middle of each day.
Car parking available with disabled spaces.
Entry to buildings is on the level with a slight threshold, which can be negotiated in a wheelchair. Museum displays and exhibitions are on the ground floor.
Access to the first floor of the mill is by single flight of stairs - a video of the milling process is available for those who can't climb the stairs.
The garden is fully accessible for all.
Disabled toilet available. Our study area, used for some events has a lift for disabled access.
Access permitted to guide dogs only within the museum buildings. Dogs permitted in museum gardens on a lead. No dogs permitted in the mill or no. 6 cottage, as these are food preparation areas.
